The Health Ministry in Israel has reported 770 cases of measles within the past three months, with 228 patients currently active and 24 hospitalized, including two in intensive care. Most of those hospitalized are children who had not received vaccination, and two unvaccinated toddlers without underlying conditions died from the disease in mid-August. Authorities noted that a measles patient traveled on several public buses in late August, potentially exposing others to the virus. The ministry urges anyone who may have been exposed to check their vaccination status, as measles is highly contagious and can cause severe complications.
