Hamas has officially confirmed the death of Mohammed Sinwar, its military chief in Gaza, months after Israel reported he was killed in a strike. The group released images of Sinwar and other leaders, referring to them as 'martyrs', but did not provide further details about his death. Mohammed Sinwar, the younger brother of Yahya Sinwar, assumed leadership of the group after Yahya was killed last year.
