Eitan Levy confirmed as one of bodies returned by Hamas last night

Eitan Levy, a 53-year-old cab driver from Bat Yam, has been confirmed as one of the bodies returned by Hamas last night, according to the Hostages and Missing Families forum. Levy was missing for over 40 days before being recognized as a hostage, and his family was later informed that he had been killed while in captivity in Gaza. He was last heard from on October 7, 2023, when he called his son during a Hamas attack, and the call was cut off amid sounds of gunfire. In August 2024, his family released graphic footage showing his body being mistreated in Gaza. Levy is survived by his son and sister, and his family has expressed both sorrow and a sense of closure with his return, while calling for the return of all remaining hostages.
