This assertion contradicts recent assessments from senior officials in the United States. Sa'ar, speaking in Rome alongside Italian Foreign Minister Antoni Tajani, described the situation as extremely serious. So far, Hamas has returned the bodies of 9 out of 28 hostages who were killed while in captivity.
