The United States has rejected accusations that Hamas is breaching its ceasefire agreement with Israel by not returning all deceased hostages. According to US officials, Hamas has so far returned nine of the 28 bodies, explaining that the remaining are buried beneath extensive rubble and require specialized equipment for recovery. Despite delays, US advisers maintain that plans for Gaza's demilitarization and a transitional government are still progressing. Israel has responded to the situation by restricting aid to Gaza, while its defense minister has warned of potential military action if the agreement is not fully implemented. The process of recovering all hostages' remains is expected to take weeks due to the scale of destruction in Gaza.
