A cargo aircraft landing at Hong Kong International Airport skidded off the runway and collided with a security patrol car before both ended up in the sea. The incident resulted in the deaths of two airport security workers who were inside the patrol car, while all four crew members of the aircraft escaped without injuries. Authorities stated that the plane veered off the runway and struck the car, which was outside the airport fence. Rescue teams found the aircraft broken into two parts and located the trapped security workers after a 40-minute search in the water.
