Tabletop.me is set to launch the Middle East's first major tabletop gaming convention in Dubai this November, aiming to rekindle the ancient tradition of in-person gaming and human connection. The event, founded by Mark Azzam, will run for three days at Dubai Outlet Mall and welcomes both newcomers and experienced players, with trained game masters on hand to guide participants and eliminate the barrier of complicated rulebooks. Beyond a wide array of modern and classic games, the convention will feature workshops, industry talks, tournaments, and dedicated spaces for children and families, including a 'Classic Corner' for regional favorites like chess and backgammon. Azzam envisions the event as a unifying force for the region's gaming community, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to share in the joy of play.
