A recent survey conducted by an Israeli television channel reveals that a significant majority of Israelis, about two-thirds, believe the United States is currently directing military operations in Gaza. Only a quarter of respondents think Israel itself is making these decisions, while a small percentage remain uncertain.
The poll also explored public sentiment regarding Israel's autonomy, asking whether respondents feel the country has become a 'vassal state' of the United States. Nearly seventy percent agreed with this characterization, despite opposition to the idea from both the Israeli Prime Minister and senior officials in the United States.
