Pakistan has supported a United States-led plan at the United Nations Security Council authorizing an international force to stabilize Gaza, while emphasizing the need for a clear path to Palestinian statehood and the full withdrawal of Israeli troops. The resolution, which passed with broad support, establishes a transitional authority and a stabilization force with a wide mandate, including border oversight and demilitarization, set to expire at the end of 2027.

Pakistan's ambassador to the United Nations stressed that the immediate priority is to halt the bloodshed, maintain the ceasefire, and ensure humanitarian relief for Palestinians. He also called for the executive authority in Gaza to remain with the Palestinians and highlighted the central role of the Palestinian Authority in governance and reconstruction.

Islamabad reiterated its longstanding support for Palestinian self-determination and the establishment of a sovereign state based on pre-1967 borders. The ambassador warned that the international force's mandate would only be effective once Israel fully withdraws from Gaza and insisted on no annexation or forced displacement.

Pakistan, which does not have diplomatic relations with Israel, has consistently condemned Israeli military actions in Gaza and urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for alleged war crimes.
