US Vice President JD Vance has publicly rejected claims of rising antisemitism within the Republican Party, stating that he does not observe increased hostility among young conservatives. Vance emphasized the importance of condemning antisemitism and racism, but argued that labeling the party as increasingly antisemitic is unfair and inaccurate. He acknowledged that there are always individuals with problematic views but insisted these do not represent the broader movement.
In contrast, former Senator Ted Cruz has warned of growing anti-Israel and antisemitic sentiment among young conservatives, citing the influence of certain media figures. Vance responded by reaffirming his belief that the party has not become more antisemitic over the past decade.
During the interview, Vance also expressed admiration for several progressive lawmakers, including Bernie Sanders, Ro Khanna, and Zohran Mamdani. He praised Mamdani for his focus on New York City's affordability crisis and his willingness to listen to constituents, noting that such qualities are rare among politicians.
