Tunisian director Kaouther Ben Hania's docudrama 'The Voice of Hind Rajab' has received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture in a non-English language. The film is based on the true story of Hind Rajab Hamada, who was killed in Gaza City after her family's car came under fire while fleeing the Israeli military. Her final calls to the Red Crescent rescue service drew international attention and outrage. The movie features several prominent executive producers, including actors Joaquin Phoenix and Brad Pitt, as well as acclaimed directors Jonathan Glazer and Alfonso Cuaron. In addition to its Golden Globe nod, the film has been selected as Tunisia's official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the upcoming Academy Awards.
