Ritik Bajaj, a prime suspect in a massive narcotics case involving the seizure of drugs valued at Rs 13,000 crore, has been extradited to India from the United Arab Emirates. Bajaj is accused of playing a central role in an international drug syndicate that trafficked high-grade narcotics, including cocaine and marijuana sourced from Thailand. His return follows a coordinated operation involving multiple Indian agencies and international partners, culminating in his detention in Dubai and transfer to Delhi. Bajaj's arrest brings the total number of individuals apprehended in the case to seventeen, and authorities expect his interrogation to reveal further details about the syndicate's cross-border operations. The investigation continues, with efforts underway to locate another key suspect, Rishabh Baisoya, who remains at large.
