The survey comes as the Qatargate scandal draws renewed attention, with allegations that senior aides to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu served as paid lobbyists for Qatar, which supports Hamas, while holding government positions. The poll highlights a sharp political divide, with over 70 percent of opposition voters viewing such dual employment as treasonous, compared to about 30 percent of coalition voters. The poll was conducted on December 28 among 500 Jewish and Arab Israelis, with a margin of error of 4.3 percent.
