Syrian authorities in Latakia have arrested 21 individuals reportedly connected to the rule of ousted leader Bashar al-Assad, following a series of sectarian attacks in Alawite neighborhoods. State media reports that those detained are accused of criminal acts, inciting sectarian tensions, and targeting internal security forces. In response to the unrest, officials imposed an overnight curfew on the city to restore order.
