Israeli authorities have renewed a demolition order for a seven-a-side football pitch located in the Aida Refugee Camp, north of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The order was delivered to the Aida Youth Center, which oversees the field, with officials citing a lack of permit for its construction. The notice was posted at the pitch gate in the Khallat Hamama area, close to the separation wall, and gives the owners one week to demolish the site themselves. If the deadline is not met, Israeli authorities will proceed with the demolition, and the owners could face fines and possible imprisonment. The football field has faced the threat of demolition since November of last year.
