A Black Hawk helicopter operated by the Israel defense forces crashed during a recovery operation after making an emergency landing earlier in the week due to severe weather. Dramatic footage circulating online shows the helicopter being lifted when the harness suddenly tore, causing the aircraft to fall near a house in the Gush Etzion area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. In response, the Israeli Air Force chief has ordered a military investigative committee to examine the circumstances of the crash.
