Anti-Israel activists in the United States have launched a solidarity campaign in support of two members of the Holy Land Five, who remain imprisoned for funding Hamas. The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development was found guilty in 2008 of channeling millions of dollars to the group under the guise of charitable work. The campaign, organized by groups such as Within Our Lifetime and the Palestine Solidarity Working Group, includes a week of events in several cities. Activities range from poetry readings and documentary screenings to a book launch and letter-writing initiatives for the prisoners.
