Saudi Arabia's Cabinet has welcomed a ceasefire agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces, emphasizing the Kingdom's support for peaceful resolutions to regional disputes. The Cabinet also condemned violations of the Gaza ceasefire, calling for a just settlement that enables Palestinian statehood.
Ministers highlighted the outcomes of major international events hosted in Riyadh, including environmental and technology initiatives, and praised the signing of numerous agreements to advance academic, real estate, and media sectors. The Cabinet also reviewed progress in government reforms, the launch of the National Privatization Strategy, and new development projects in Makkah and Jeddah.
Additionally, the Cabinet approved several international cooperation agreements, endorsed policies to promote the Arabic language, and adopted new measures to combat narcotics and hazardous materials incidents. Senior appointments and promotions across government departments were also authorized.
