Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said Tehran is prepared to take any necessary steps to secure an agreement with the United States as both sides get ready for a new round of negotiations in Geneva. He stated that Iran will enter the talks with honesty and good faith, aiming to reach a deal as quickly as possible.
At the same time, Takht-Ravanchi warned that Iran would respond if it comes under attack. He said any military action by the United States would be a serious risk and that Iran would act according to its defense plans if faced with aggression.
