The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said it received a 35-year-old man in critical condition after he was shot near the village of Yatta, south of Hebron in the southern West Bank. The man was transferred to a hospital after being handed over by Israeli forces.
According to the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency, the man was reportedly shot by Israeli settlers who chased a vehicle carrying him and several other Palestinians and opened fire. Eyewitnesses cited by the outlet said the settlers fled the scene with the vehicle. The Israeli military has not issued a comment on the incident.
