Hezbollah fires dozens of rockets at north, hitting home but no injuries; IDF pounds Lebanon

Hezbollah launched dozens of rockets toward northern Israel and the northern West Bank on Tuesday evening, with one projectile directly striking a home in the city of Karmiel. No injuries were reported, as three residents were inside a reinforced safe room at the time of impact. Many of the rockets were intercepted by air defenses, while others landed in open areas, and five drones launched during the हमला were also shot down.

The Israeli military said it had identified preparations for a major barrage hours earlier and carried out multiple waves of airstrikes in Lebanon aimed at disrupting the attack. Strikes targeted rocket launchers, launch squads, command centers and additional sites, including in Beirut, both before and after the rockets were fired.

Following the barrage, the military issued evacuation warnings for the Lebanese city of Tyre and nearby areas, urging civilians to move north of the Zahrani River ahead of further strikes. As Israeli ground forces advanced deeper into southern Lebanon against Hezbollah infrastructure, Lebanon’s army reported that three of its soldiers were killed in Israeli airstrikes, an incident the Israeli military said was under review while emphasizing it was targeting Hezbollah and not Lebanese troops or civilians.
