Israel's military said Iran has launched more than 400 ballistic missiles at Israel since the beginning of the Middle East war, with approximately 92 percent successfully intercepted.
Military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani said Israel has achieved a high interception rate against the incoming missiles. Despite the defenses, some projectiles have penetrated the system.
On Saturday, Iranian missiles struck two towns in southern Israel, leaving about 175 people in need of medical treatment, according to Israeli authorities.
