Global air travel remains severely disrupted as the war in Iran has forced the closure of major Middle Eastern hubs, including Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi, stranding tens of thousands of passengers. Airlines worldwide are canceling or suspending flights to key destinations across the region, with some routes halted for weeks or months.
Carriers from Europe, North America and Asia have suspended services to cities such as Tel Aviv, Beirut, Riyadh, Dubai and Doha, citing safety concerns and airspace restrictions. Several airlines have extended cancellations into late spring and summer, while others are operating reduced or limited schedules where airspace has partially reopened.
Some airlines are redeploying capacity to other high-demand routes, adding extra flights to destinations in Europe and Asia. Meanwhile, Israeli and regional carriers are operating under severe constraints, working to repatriate stranded passengers as authorities consider alternative airport options.
