Israel's defense minister, Israel Katz, said that military strikes on Iran will intensify as long as missile fire toward Israeli civilians continues. Speaking during a meeting with military officials, Katz stated that prior warnings had been issued to Tehran to halt the attacks.

According to Katz, because the missile launches have persisted despite those warnings, Israel will expand its strikes to include additional targets and domains that support Iran's ability to build and operate weapons used against Israeli civilians. He described the ongoing attacks as war crimes and said Iran would face heavy and increasing consequences.
