Palestinians in the Dheisheh refugee camp in the occupied West Bank buried 15 year old Adham Sayed Saleh Dahman on Saturday after he was shot dead by Israeli forces during a military operation near Bethlehem. The Palestinian health ministry said he died from serious gunshot wounds to the abdomen, and another فلسطینی was also injured in the incident.

Residents said Israeli troops had been entering the camp regularly and firing tear gas and live ammunition. The Israeli military said its forces were responding to a violent disturbance that included stone throwing, adding that soldiers used live fire in response to what it described as a threat.

Dahman's mother said her son had hoped to work to help buy a house for the family and dreamed of becoming a chef. His funeral drew hundreds of mourners as violence in the West Bank continues to intensify amid the broader regional conflict, with rising numbers of Palestinian and Israeli casualties reported since the war in Gaza began in October 2023.
