Israel vows sustained strikes on Iran

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Israel's military strikes on Iran will continue for as long as necessary and will not end until all objectives are achieved. He made the remarks during a security assessment with the military chief of staff and senior defense officials at the military headquarters in Tel Aviv.

Katz described the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as a turning point in the conflict. He expressed hope that ongoing operations would ultimately enable the Iranian people to remove the current regime, calling it a desired outcome for Israel and the wider world.
