Sirens sounded across northern Israel, including the city of Haifa and parts of the Upper Galilee, after projectiles were launched from Lebanon. The Israeli military said it is investigating the details of the incident.
It was not immediately clear who carried out the attack, though Hebrew media outlets attributed the rocket fire to Hezbollah. The group has not claimed responsibility.
If confirmed, this would mark the first time Hezbollah has launched rockets at Israel since the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire that took effect in November 2024. It would also be the first time the group has joined Iran in attacks against Israel following their previous conflict in June, during which Hezbollah did not take part.
