Trump obliterates Iran's navy by sinking eleven boats

The United States military said it struck and sank Iran's largest naval warship shortly after launching what President Donald Trump called 'Operation Epic Fury.' According to United States Central Command, the targeted vessel was the Shahid Bagheri, an Iranian drone carrier that Tehran had used to launch attacks against American military bases and regional allies. Officials rejected Iranian claims that an American aircraft carrier had been destroyed, calling them false.

The strike is part of a broader campaign that has seen United States forces sink eleven Iranian naval vessels in the Gulf of Oman since the conflict began. While the full extent of the damage to Iran's fleet remains unclear, the attacks represent a significant blow to the country's naval capabilities. Iran has claimed heavy American casualties, but United States officials report four service members killed and eighteen injured.

President Trump said the conflict could last up to four weeks, describing it as a defined but intense campaign. The weekend operation reportedly began with a large-scale air assault involving around one hundred aircraft. Separately, three American fighter jets were accidentally shot down in Kuwait in a friendly fire incident, though the pilots survived after ejecting. No clear timetable has been provided for the end of the war.
