The Israeli military is preparing for at least one to two additional weeks of operations in Iran, with plans to strike thousands more targets linked to the Iranian regime. The campaign is aimed at systematically degrading the regime’s military infrastructure and broader capabilities.
According to officials, the objective is not limited to isolated strikes but focuses on sustained pressure designed to weaken Iran’s operational capacity over time. The effort is part of a broader strategy to reduce the regime’s ability to project force.
Some Israeli officials believe that Gulf states, which have already come under Iranian attacks during the conflict, may shift from a defensive role to a more active offensive posture. At present, those states are primarily engaged in intercepting Iranian ballistic missiles and drones directed at their territories.
