Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed 'unflinching solidarity' with Saudi Arabia following Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting energy facilities in Jubail. In a call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Sharif condemned the strike and reaffirmed that Pakistan would stand 'shoulder to shoulder' with the Kingdom during the ongoing regional crisis.
Saudi authorities said projectiles aimed at the Eastern Region were intercepted, though debris fell near critical energy infrastructure. The attacks come amid escalating hostilities across the Gulf following a war triggered by strikes from the United States and Israel on Iran.
Pakistan's military leadership also condemned the attacks, warning that such actions undermine peace efforts and risk derailing diplomatic initiatives. Officials praised Saudi Arabia's restraint and reiterated calls for dialogue and de-escalation, while highlighting Pakistan's continued mediation efforts to help restore stability in the region.
