Thirteen Lebanese state security personnel were killed in an Israeli strike on a government building in the southern city of Nabatieh, according to Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun. He condemned the continued attacks, saying that targeting state institutions would not deter Lebanon from defending its sovereignty.

The Israeli military said that about 30 projectiles were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel, with some causing damage. Air raid sirens sounded near the Lebanese border, and emergency services reported direct hits in Safed as well as impacts in the Galilee region, including Baana and Deir Assad.

Clashes between Hezbollah and Israeli forces have persisted since early March, despite a broader truce involving Iran. Israel says it has dismantled thousands of Hezbollah sites and killed more than 1,400 fighters, while Lebanese health authorities report more than 1,800 people killed in Lebanon. On the Israeli side, 12 soldiers have been killed in southern Lebanon, and a reservist was seriously wounded on Friday by shrapnel from an explosive drone.
