image sourced from original article at A 45-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of two Jewish men following a stabbing in Golders Green, north London. The victims, Shloime Rand, 34, and Moshe Shine, 76, suffered serious injuries and were treated in hospital. Police have declared the incident a terrorist attack.
The defendant, Essa Suleiman, is also accused of attempting to murder Ishmail Hussein during a separate knife attack at Hussein's flat in Southwark earlier the same day. Hussein is known to the suspect.
In addition, Suleiman faces a charge of possessing a knife in a public place in Golders Green. The case is continuing through the courts.
