Iran's judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said Tehran remains open to negotiations with the United States but will not accept what he described as policy imposition under threats. In remarks published by the judiciary's official outlet, he emphasized that Iran has never avoided talks yet refuses to yield to pressure.
Ejei stated that Iran does not seek war and does not want its continuation, but stressed that the country will not abandon its principles and values to avoid conflict. He characterized the United States as a malicious enemy and said Iran would not compromise its core positions.
He also asserted that Washington achieved nothing through war and declared that Tehran would not back down during negotiations. His comments underline Iran's stance that dialogue is possible, but only without coercion or demands that undermine its stated principles.
