'Never seen anything like this before': Iran damaged 16 US bases across 8 Middle East nations, says report

Iran and its allies have reportedly damaged at least 16 United States military installations across eight Middle East countries following a conflict that began on February 28, when Washington launched joint strikes with Tel Aviv on Tehran. Investigations based on satellite imagery and interviews with officials indicate that several facilities have been severely degraded, with some rendered partially unusable.

According to sources familiar with damage assessments, the affected sites represent a significant portion of United States military positions in the region. One official described the scale of destruction as unprecedented. The strikes reportedly focused on advanced radar systems, communications infrastructure, and aircraft, targeting assets considered costly and difficult to replace.

The financial toll of the conflict is mounting, with public estimates placing costs at 25 billion dollars, while internal figures reportedly range between 40 and 50 billion dollars. Gulf allies hosting many of the bases have been heavily affected and are said to be privately questioning the reliability and exclusivity of their security partnership with Washington.
