Saudi Arabia has voiced strong support for security measures taken by Bahrain to protect its sovereignty and stability. The Saudi Foreign Ministry said the steps were sovereign decisions aimed at safeguarding national security and reaffirmed full backing for Bahrain against any actions that could threaten its internal affairs.
Riyadh emphasized that Bahrain's security is inseparable from its own and from the broader stability of the Gulf region. It pledged continued support for efforts to deter attempts to undermine Bahrain's sovereignty.
Meanwhile, the United Nations telecommunications agency adopted a resolution condemning and monitoring the impact of Iranian attacks on civilian telecommunications infrastructure in Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan. The move followed a joint submission by Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan, and was approved by consensus within the International Telecommunication Union council.
