Four Arab Israeli residents of the Negev have been charged with smuggling firearms from Jordan into the West Bank using a drone. Authorities said two of the suspects were caught in the act while attempting to transport 10 Glock pistols and compatible magazines across the border.
Following their arrest, investigators uncovered a broader smuggling network allegedly responsible for moving around 44 handguns into Israeli territory and approximately 120 kilograms of hashish into Jordan. The suspects are also accused of selling military assault rifles to an arms dealer in the West Bank, where the weapons were later distributed. The indictments were filed in the Beersheba District Court after a months-long investigation by police, the army and the Israel Security Agency.
