A 12-year-old Syrian girl and her father were killed in south Lebanon after an Israeli drone targeted them with three consecutive missiles in the Al-Nabatieh region. The pair were reportedly riding a motorcycle when the first missile struck, which they initially survived.
According to Lebanese officials, a second missile killed the father, while the injured girl fled approximately 100 meters before a third missile struck her. She was taken to Nabih Berri Governmental University Hospital for emergency surgery but later died from her wounds.
Lebanon’s health ministry condemned the attack, describing it as deliberate violence against civilians and children and a serious violation of international humanitarian law. In a separate incident the same morning, an Israeli airstrike on a car in the Tyre region killed three people, with Israeli authorities reportedly reviewing the events.
