The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has launched an investigation into an alleged inter-state module that was using encrypted messaging platforms to spread anti-national content and radicalize youth for suicide attacks. The group was active on platforms such as Signal, Instagram, Discord, and WhatsApp, where they shared content promoting jihad and discussed targeting Indian security forces, Hindu leaders, and Israeli establishments. The ATS has filed an FIR and is conducting an interrogation with the suspects. The investigation aims to identify other members of the module and trace their funding sources.
