Two 19-year-olds, Mahmoud Gahma and Hassan Alhan, have been indicted for the close-range shooting and killing of a man in Lod. Crime-related murders in the Arab sector have been on the rise, often involving fights between rival gangs or families. In this incident, Gahma shot the victim, Qusay Abu Raqeeq, with eight bullets before fleeing in Alhan's car. Abu Raqeeq was pronounced dead after being taken to Shamir Medical Center.
