Gila Sandler, a 29-year-old olah from Manchester, had a religious moment that led her to make aliyah to Israel. Despite challenges with her aliyah application and culture shock, she found community and purpose in Jerusalem. After experiencing trauma during the Hamas invasion, she now lives in Jerusalem, working in the fashion industry and helping women feel confident.
