A body found in a Hamas compound in Khan Younis has been identified as former Hamas leader Mohammad Sinwar. Sinwar was a key figure in Hamas's military leadership and played a central role in planning the October 7 massacre. Israel confirmed his death in an airstrike that also killed two other terrorists.
