The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange reached new record highs today, driven by strong performances from insurance stocks and Fattal. The Tel Aviv 35 Index climbed 1.09 percent to close at 3,071.45 points, while the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 1.17 percent to 3,152.46 points. The BlueTech Global Index also saw gains, increasing by 1.41 percent to 541.96 points. Trading volumes were robust, with equities turnover at 3.70 billion shekels and bonds at 4.23 billion shekels.
In the foreign exchange market, the shekel strengthened against both the dollar and the euro, with the Bank of Israel setting lower representative rates for both currencies. Meanwhile, Isracard experienced a notable decline, falling 5.76 percent outside of the main index.
