Ariel Meir Taman, a reservist who served in the military's body identification unit, was found dead in his home in Ofakim. Taman had been involved in identifying victims' remains since October 7 and reportedly faced mental health challenges related to his work. The Investigative Military Police has opened an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death, with findings to be submitted to the Military Advocate General's Office. Taman is survived by his wife and four children.
