Every day, Abeer and Fadi Sobh wake up in their tent in Gaza with a single focus: finding food for their six children. Their options are limited to charity kitchens, aid trucks, or begging, and often they go without eating as hunger and exhaustion take hold. The family, displaced multiple times by war, faces the same dire situation as many others in Gaza, where aid is scarce, food prices are soaring, and lawlessness makes survival even harder. Despite their efforts to gather water, forage for fuel, and seek out any possible meal, most days end with the family going to bed hungry, their hope and strength fading as the conflict drags on.
