Belgium's foreign minister has summoned the Israeli ambassador in response to Israel's announcement of plans to occupy Gaza City and assume military control over the Gaza Strip. The Belgian ministry expressed strong disapproval of this decision, as well as ongoing settlement activities and intentions to annex the West Bank. Belgium stated it will advocate for a reversal of these actions and emphasized its concerns in an official statement.
