MK Tzvi Succot has postponed a planned discussion in the Knesset's Subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that was set to address incidents of shooting at civilians during riots in Judea and Samaria. The session, originally scheduled for Sunday, was delayed after requests from officials in the settlement movement, the military, and the political system. Succot, who chairs the committee, had called for an emergency meeting to examine all incidents of gunfire directed at Israeli civilians over the past five years, including victim details and any changes in engagement protocols. Representatives from several government ministries and the military were expected to participate in the discussion, which aimed to investigate the handling and prevention of such incidents.
