Iran says IAEA official to visit for talks, no access to nuclear...

A senior official from the United Nations nuclear watchdog is set to visit Iran for talks, but will not be granted access to any nuclear sites, according to Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. This visit comes after military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities and ongoing tensions over inspections, which have been suspended since last month following new legislation passed by Iran's parliament. Iran has accused the agency of contributing to the recent bombings through a critical report and maintains its commitment to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, while denying any pursuit of nuclear weapons. Negotiations are expected to focus on establishing a framework for future cooperation, with site inspections pending approval from Iran's Supreme National Security Council.
