Climate activist Greta Thunberg has announced her participation in a new flotilla aiming to challenge Israel's naval blockade of the Gaza Strip. Scheduled to launch from Spain on August 31st, the initiative will involve dozens of boats, with additional vessels joining from Tunisia and other ports on September 4th. Thunberg emphasized the mobilization of supporters in over forty countries for simultaneous demonstrations in solidarity with the Palestinian people. This follows her involvement in a previous flotilla in June, which was intercepted by Israeli forces and resulted in her deportation from Israel. The earlier aid shipment was described by Israeli authorities as minimal and was redirected through official humanitarian channels.
