Australia has revealed plans to formally recognise a Palestinian state in September, aligning with recent decisions by the United Kingdom, France, and Canada. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that the recognition will take place at the United Nations General Assembly, contingent on commitments from the Palestinian Authority.
