Over two years of war in Gaza, the lives of those interviewed have been marked by loss and displacement. Yousef Sager, who once shared his struggle to survive on boiled weeds, was later killed in an airstrike. Samar al-Jaja and her nephews, who lost their family in a previous strike, returned to find only a fragment of their home standing and no closure for their grief.
The family has been forced to move repeatedly, paying large sums to escape danger, only to end up back in a charity camp, now without even a tent. As negotiations continue between Israel and Hamas, many Palestinians like them remain in limbo, struggling to survive amid ongoing violence and uncertainty.
